The Optic Radio Conceived as a terrorist reaction to the "canned music" that haunts commercial airwaves. The sounds are whatever events are at that moment being broadcast on the radio. The instrument is triggered by waving ones hands around the light sensors. This gesture creates a varied and random fluctuation in what station is being broadcast, hence the audio content.
Sound Scupture #2 This is a multi belled electro acoustic instrument. Perhaps I should give a nod to both Richard Waters and to the Brothers Baschet for the look of this thing, though it hardly is a finely crafted. The sound is like an empty warehouse filled with metal shelves -pounding and mean.
Alien Globe-Spring Maracas These are plastic globes mounted on couch springs. The insides are filled with different things. The silver has rice, the green one has plastic balls and the clear one has multi colored mini plastic babies. The springs mainly serve as handles or stands. The metal has no great sound quality on it's one, though it's shape lends it's self to interesting playing techniques.
