Recording is an an art and science that I have practiced since I was ten years old and since the age of thirteen I have used my skills and equipment to record other people.

During the 1990's I ran The Boom Boom Room, a commercial recording studio that was home to projects ranging from television shows to Punk bands. With my assistant Michael Jongren custom software design and the ground work for was laid to deal with multimedia installations incorporating sound and video.

As the decade closed, so did The Boom Boom Room. I brought my equipment back into my apartment, eager to go back to a more "home studio" kind of vibe. It worked, I was suddenly much more creative and outside jobs kept coming. EQ Magazine did a piece on me and my newly dubbed studio CrawlSpace NYC. I felt like the whole process had been given a breath of fresh air.

In 2006 I discovered that I no longer could remain where I was.

Currently I am reaching out to a few people in bands and other studios. I am resigned to the idea that I may have to close shop in all official senses while a new location and lease is found.

Stay tuned...
